I am Sarah Jay. I am an educator, engineer, novice CrossFit'R (such a millennial thing to say), dreamer, foodie, new traveler, programmer and animal lover.

I  was born and raised in Chennai, India. I came to the United States to find a  piece of chocolate that i still have not found.

She loves devoting time to fitness and mindfulness.

As an educator, my goals include creating an inclusive environment and increasing student retention in the field of Engineering. My research interests are in the field of Women in engineering, leadership, diversity, and the implementation of smart concepts in engineering education.
